Vital Energi invite you to attend the public engagement event on the draft proposals for the Govan BESS. The proposed development is located on land directly to the east of Helen Street, Glasgow, G51 3AR, and located within Glasgow City Council’s authority area boundary.
The event will be held as follows:

The public engagement event will provide an opportunity to gain information about the project, the community benefits, as well as to see visualisations of how the Govan BESS project will look if developed. Members of the Vital Energi team will be on-hand to answer questions about the project and discuss specific concerns. Our aim is to give the local community an opportunity to provide feedback and to help shape our proposals before a finalised planning application is submitted.
The information shared at the public engagement event will be made available here on the same day for those unable to attend.
This event is not the only opportunity for the local community to comment on the proposed development. There will be a further opportunity to submit feedback and comments once the application has been submitted to the local planning authority.
